O Hotel Hofmatt está localizado em Münchenstein, a 10 km do Aeroporto Basel-Mulhouse e a 15 minutos de eléctrico do centro da cidade de Basileia. The hotel is near to the tram line 10 that comes from Basel, so it is really easy to get there. The hotel is nice and spacious with restaurants and the staff is excellent! Very helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choices, fresh foods (especially liked the fresh orange juice squeeze machine). The rooms are nice and clean with complimentary water bottle and snacks (apple, peanuts, Haribo). What a wonderful place to stay at for a couple nights!

Breakfasts and dinner were very good even if the later was a bit expensive for us UK residents! Alexandia was extremely helpful in arranging transport on Easter Monday for the four of us before we we had arrived and her mother went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and a success. Would highly recommend this Gasthaus for its service and warm welcome.

A 15-minute drive from the centre of Basel, Hotel Gasthof zum Ochsen enjoys a quiet location in the heart of Arlesheim, 8 km from Basel and 1,200 metres from the Goetheanum Centre in Dornach. The restaurant is authentic and wooden cozy space which feels amazing. Although the breakfast does come with limited options for such a Hotel but the quality of most products are really good. for example cheese and milk and range of breads seemed local. You are also asked for the omelette options which is nice ( It was the best eggs I had in a hotel). Also there is a buffet in each floor of the hotel with drinks and snacks which is free and was helpful as we checked in late and no restaurant was open in the area. The only things that I wish were better in the breakfast was the juice as it was not fresh. Also, during mid day, the smell of boiling red meat was all in the common area , but not in the room I must admit.

We went to the hotel with our dog and we loved it. Our hotel room was small but really nice and confortable with a nice balcony. We had the best time with our dog as there was so much space for us to walk around including a beautiful forest. Dinner and breakfast were really good too.
