Buckberry Creek is a large creek that runs across from the chalet down the mountain to the Little River in downtown Gatlinburg. It is fed by multiple springs and spring-fed streams including one at the foot of the driveway. There are multiple places to sit on the banks and rocks and enjoy the water flows and aquatic life. Buckberries grow along the creek and the mountain-side. We hope you will also appreciate this historic A-frame as we do when we regularly stay at Buckberry Creek Chalet. Enjoy its convenient location to Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park (skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snow tubing, slides, as well as multiple summer activities and amusements), downtown Gatlinburg, additional attractions in Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Also enjoy returning to Buckberry Creek Chalet's seclusion, peacefulness and spaciousness. Share our joy exploring the creek or listening to it from the deck, the trees, the flowers, the wildlife, the fireplace, the fire pit, the BBQ, the Jacuzzi, the piano (if you play), the full kitchen, the décor.
