Featuring a garden, shared lounge, terrace and free WiFi, Stocklycke Omberg is set in Omberg, 42 km from Grenna Museum and 24 km from Vadstena Castle. I enjoyed the comfort of having a clean, beautiful and friendly accommodation in the nature park. I enjoyed being able to go for nature hikes and come back to a comfortable and welcoming place. Breakfast was generous with lots of options.

Surrounded by greenery, Valla Folkhögskola offers accommodation in Linköping. The property features a large garden, while Valla Nature Reserve can be reached within a 7-minute walk. They have considered about Check-in time for students who have lectures at the university.

Located on the grounds of Vadstena abbey, this hostel offers a garden and views of lake Vättern. Free WiFi is available. Vadstena Castle is 1 km away. To be honest, as an accomodation it was pretty average. But the surroundings, not least for a person interested in history. When booking the room, I didn't realise that it was *so* close to the old convent. Nor did I realise it was so close to lake Vättern (just outside the door) and I sorely regretted not bringing my swimsuit. The staff on site was also brilliant.

Situated 5 minutes’ walk from central Vadstena, this hostel offers free Wi-Fi access and free on-site parking. Vadstena Golf Course is 2.5 km away. Excellent breakfast. Good location. Very clean. Very kind staff.

This hostel is located between European Route E22 and the Göta Canal, just 1 km from Söderköping. It offers functional rooms with a TV and access to a shared kitchen. Good location. Close to Söderköping and Norrköping

Housed in refurbished glassworks’ buildings, this property is set between Göta Canal and the Motala River. It offers rooms and apartments and a lush garden. Among the most beautiful places ive seen, if you are in the area staying here is a must. Exceptionelly friendly and service minded staff. Loved it.

This hostel is located in Norrköping’s popular Industrilandskapet area. Free WiFi access and brightly decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV. The staff is amazing and the lounge is a big plus.

Located in Borghamn, 16 km from Vadstena Castle, Borghamn Strand provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. A beautiful "Vandrarhem" (this is something between a cheap hotel and a hostel, with private rooms but with shared bathrooms, kitchen and social areas you can use if you like.) Amazing location just by the lake Vättern and the walking paths of Omberg. Limited avalibility of café/restaurant, so it might be a good idea to be prepared to do self catering in the common kitchen.

Set in Motala, 49 km from Linköping Train Station, Motala Wärdshus offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Nice and clean. Pleasant surroundings, close to the town and a good breakfast next morning.

Turistgårdens vandrarhem i Norrköping is set in Norrköping, about 2 km from Louis De Geer Concert Hall and The Museum of Work. Free private parking is available on site. An unexpectedly comfortable hotel. I will definitely stop by again.
