Set in Auckland, Verandahs Parkside Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. It's a really clean, well kept hostel. It also backs onto a beautiful local park and is a great location for staying in the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Boasting a shared lounge, a restaurant as well as a bar, LyLo Auckland is set in the centre of Auckland, 2.9 km from Masefield Beach. This was such a perfect hostel to stay in. The facilities were all very clean. The kitchen seemed well cared for and people often took care of their messes quickly. The shared bathrooms were spacious and cleaned multiple times a day. The shower water was always nice and hot. The pod bunks were comfortable and surprisingly well ventilated. I especially liked all of the little storage places to put my phone, charger, and miscellaneous items. There was also a large lockable cabinet that could easily fit a checked bag. There is a locked room to store luggage before and after checkout and the self-service check-in and check-out service was convenient. The common areas were always busy with people and it was easy to meet other travelers. It was easy to walk or catch a bus to many other hot spots in the city.

Helpful personell, great location near Eden Park. Very clean place, nice bathrooms (many to choose from), comfortable beds, sink in room, fridge. Great place to stay while in Auckland:)

Situated in Onetangi, 300 metres from Onetangi Beach, Waiheke Backpackers Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. This hostel is definitely one of the best I've tried in a year in New Zealand! The atmosphere there is great. The staff is incredible, they put a lot of effort in the cleaning which makes the hostel super comfortable to live in. My room was big (dorm of 4), though the 2-beds dorms are quite small though. All of them have windows. Showers are huge with high pressure. It's on top of a beautiful hill, next to the most beautiful beach on the island... If you wanna play it chill for a few days, this is the hostel for you!

Featuring a TV lounge and a communal kitchen, Haka House Auckland City is just 10 minutes’ walk from the famous Sky Tower. One of the best hostels I have stayed in during my 7 month travel. Clean. Beds are comfy and have curtains, big lockers. Haka hostels have chef's kirchens. Extrmely spacious and equipped with everything you can imagine. Central location. Perfection

Attractively situated in the Auckland Central Business District district of Auckland, United Auckland is situated 700 metres from Aotea Square, 800 metres from Auckland Art Gallery and less than 1 km... Had a beautiful stay. It did exceed my expectation as I had access to games,movie rooms and the common area with the kitchen is great. In addition my room and bed was clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Helped with easy check in and check out. The building is so clean :) Also i was able to keep my luggage In the reception area even after my checkout for almost 6 hrs. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Situated in the heart of Auckland, 200 metres from SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre, Metro Adventurer Backpackers features free WiFi access and private parking. The place waz conveniently located to the buses and ferry and train station. Despite not being close to the airport, you can get to this place in less than an hour. Took the express train for $18US and the ride was 48 minutes and 13 minutes walk total. There were grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby. One thing I did not like about this hostel is that the kitchen is too small and I had to buy takeout instead of fighting my way in the kitchen. The room where I stayed was quiet. There were 5 other females staying the night and they were all very kind.
