Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Staff was very nice, can speak english well. The property itself was perfect, clean, they serve towel and new blanket also. Near from station. Definitely worth for the price

The location is spectacular, with Mt. Fuji as the breathtaking backdrop. Waking up to this view every morning from the common area is a dream. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and Michi's willingness to offer advice and help with any needs truly stands out. I extended my stay because I couldn't bear to leave. If you're looking for an unforgettable Mt. Fuji experience with a wonderful host, look no further than Michi's hostel. It's a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend. Opened in May 2016, Hostel Mt. Fuji - FUKUYA is set in Fujiyoshida, 1.4 km from Fujikyu Highland. Gekkoji Station is 450 metres away and Fujisan Station is 1 km away. Loved Machiko the amazing owner. Perfect english, great tips and so kind and helpful. The place is spotless, comfortable.

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. One of my absolute favourite stays, the staff are so friendly, the place it’s self felt so authentic and clean. Could not recommend it enough!

Situated in Fujikawaguchiko, 八-Hachi- Accommodation has free bikes, garden, shared lounge, and free WiFi throughout the property. I only spent two nights, I wanted to stay longer, but the guesthouse was already full on the dates I wanted. It was an invigorating experience, what a nice, cozy place. I had the breakfast they make, it delicious, if you like japanese food I recommend it. Everyone is very friendly, especially Imuzo and his brother (unfortunately I didn't ask his name). Yudai, Daichi and Yuka are very friendly and helpful, always ready to help and offer the best experience for guests. I will recommend it to all my friends who come to visit Mount Fuji one day. Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. The room was spacious and very clean and modern. Location was beautiful, albeit slightly away from the main town, but a supermarket and restaurant were nearby.
