Located in Inokuchi, 32 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Guesthouse tonari provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Beautiful hostel with very friendly and helpful hosts! We were tired from our bike trip and they gave us restaurant recommendations and directions to the local onsen. Extremely clean and new amenities, and they even let us borrow some "spa kits" free of charge to take to the onsen! They also have a cafe attached but I don't think it's open all the time — they were doing some construction to prepare for Golden Week. Easily one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

Very comfortable stay on the 1st of 2 nights doing the Shimanami Kado from Onomichi to Imabari. Yas the friendly host is able to speak perfect English and recommend nearby amenities. Had a nice izakaya dinner nearby. Washer & dryer avail for 100yen each & towel avail for rental as well.

The owner family is super kind and friendly, I stayed on my birthday and they came back next morning to see me out with celebration! That was such a lovely experience.

Set in Imabari, within 35 km of Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine and 38 km of Saikon-ji Temple, Coliving & Cafe SANDO offers accommodation with a bar and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... beautiful guesthouse. simple contemporary Japanese design. very comfortable beds. excellent shared bathroom facilities. great location. staff were excellent. we had a small double room 1 night and then had the family room on our 2nd night. both rooms were great. teh family room is beautiful - huge, elegant Japanese design, very comfortable beds. It also has a cafe which is funky and great food. We used this as a 2 night base during our Shiminamo Kaido bike ride and spent a full day cycling around the island. great way to stretch out the ride. our day ride on the island was incredibly peasceful. A couple of good local restuarants and a local brewery within a couple of minutes walk. Amazing temple/shrine complex just over the road.

The rooms were very spacious, and the shower and bathrooms were pristine. Complimentary pyjamas and extra amenities, including towels. At the halfway point of the Shimanami Kaido so a great pit stop, and staff were friendly and happy to answer questions.

Renovated house with the traditional structure. Good location close to stores and attractions. Parking close by. Nice interior, good facilities, friendly staff. Roomy bunk beds with curtains, heating inside. They have items for sale and a bar. Meals are available for an extra charge.

Located in Mitsuhama, 2.1 km from Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine, 三津ミーツ provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Nice small well orgznized ryokan with tatami setup at the room. Nice quiet neighbourhood, with access to many nearby groceries like Lamu which operate 24hrs, and many other restaurants. Closer to the harbor seaside with short walking distance. The owner is really a nice lady which provided us lots of guidance to explore the nearby attraction places. Will certainly visit this place for a longer period in the near future!
