Located in Olginate, 26 km from Leolandia, BlueLake Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The food was perfectly cooked and plentiful. Pasquale and ivonna were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome as soon as we stepped out of our car. They shared with us local knowledge of the area and history of the building. You will be more than happy staying here. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and the bed was absolutely wonderful, best nights sleep in a very long time. Beautiful location. Featuring a spacious garden with mountain views, Lake Como Peace Lodge - Casa della Pace is a hostel located in Menaggio. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Very friendly staff. The check-in was in Lake Como Hostel where they explained the fastest route to get up to the Peace Lodge. We got cupons for free drinks in the hostel below and I highly suggest to use them cause restaurant has very good, cheap food (pizza, pasta, burgers, tiramisu etc.) and amazing cocktails - try Baileys Martini. Also everyone who was staying seemed really friendly. The place has nice views over the lake and buildings nearby. It's also close to Menaggio center and local bus stop (take C10 to Como) and ferry. There are a lot of booklets about local hiking routes and I think you can even rent a bike there. It is very peaceful - quiet and nice to stay.
