The zostel is so much cleaner than every other Hotel or Hostel i stayed in! The bedsheets where white and clean. No dust or dirt on the floor! Is is not only clean but very cosy! The location is also perfect if you want to be close to the bus stand and nature at the same time. It has a nice view over the town. There is also a restaurant that has many options you can choose from. Really delicious! If you need something or have any problems, then contact the staff! They are really friendly and try to make your stay as memorable as possible!

Situated in Auroville, within 14 km of Sri Aurobindo Ashram and 13 km of Botanical Garden, Funk monk Villa hostel PONDICHERRY features accommodation with a garden and as well as free private parking... I had a great time in this hostel. The owner is very kind and hospitilarious, kind and helpful. The rooms are big and the hostel is clean and it has great views. It's very comfortable.

Located away from the hustle of the city and far away from the crowded tourist spots of Coonoor and Ooty, The Door to Nirvana hostel is the perfect magical stay... This was amazing stay at The Door to Nirvana. Very friendly atmosphere, staff is helpful, beautiful location with fabulous views. Rooms are wooden, cozy and spacious with balconies. Food was delicious, freshly prepared. Highly recommend this place, if you are nearby, you should definitely visit.

Unearth hostel is just one in his kind. First of all, this hostel is great located! There are nice restaurants around, it has all the benefits of being in Auroville, but the ground isn't part of it. The building is absolutely beautiful and well designed. There are a lot of common spaces with beds to chill on, a huge roof terrace with activities going on like dance classes, yoga and drumcircels and a kitchen to use for cooking. There is drinking water aswell to take for free! I can't say a lot about the private rooms, but the dorm covered all my needs. (International) electricity plugs, night lamps, lockers, ven, optional airco... Everything well thought about! Than the best part: The Vibe! This hostel feels like your home away from home! With a good mixture of nationalities and types of travellers, this place functions as a big family. People take a lot of care of eachother (I can tell, as I broke my foot and ended up staying here for some weeks), and with Prerit as the head of this family, nothing can go wrong. He functions like a father, gives you advise, helps you out, organises things like scooters, and creates an open, friendly vibe everyone fits in. I will never forget the endless conversations at the bonfire, exchanging cultures, music, food and humor. If you search for cozy but spacious HOME, this is your spot. Just be carefull.... You might stay here longer than expected!

Situated in Ooty, within 3.5 km of Ooty Lake and 600 metres of Ooty Rose Garden, The Hosteller Ooty features free WiFi throughout the property. This place is very cozy with very peaceful atmosphere. A great choice to stay there while in Ooty. Evening with bonfire was comfortable with pleasant vibe. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This place doesn't provide food, but you can order from other places without any problem. Room has very comfortable beds, was well maintained and clean. Highly recommend this place, just don't forget to book in advance, otherwise it could be sold out.

Roof top cafe was great! Lovely food and good coffee. Always left happy, with a full stomach. Amazing yoga on the rooftop was a great addition! Will hopefully be back at sometime.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, The Birdhouse Backpackers Hostel is set in Coonoor, 22 km from Ooty Lake. Great place to stay. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Staff were great. I would 100% recommend.
