Fast WiFi everywhere. Central location on town plaza with a supermarket next door and cafes / bars all around. Just come here straight away once you get to the island as the capital does not have a decent hostel to offer.

Be prepared though.. there is no shop in the little town, so unless you have a car and can go around, bring everything to eat! On the weekends, from Friday to Monday there is 1 little restaurant nearby that is open, but to eat you have to make reservations. But even during the week..I would really recommend to go and visit el tablado!

A nice village with good restaurants, supermarket, close to lots of hiking and a trail which leads to the coast with natural swimming pool. Great place to use as a base to explore the north. I'll be back. Very helpful friendly staff
