Opened in 2013, Jugendherberge Nürnberg is set in a medieval castle in Nuremberg. It is located less than 500 metres from all the main sights, including Nuremberg Castle, which is only 100 metres... I arrived late after 12 in the night, and the staff let me in quite easily. They kept my booking aside and allowed me to pay up the next day, so I was able to check in and rest comfortably first. Really appreciate the extra mile they went for me! The breakfast and room were also completely amazing, exceeding my expectations of a youth hostel.

Set within the medieval city walls of Füssen, the Old Kings Design Hostel offers individually themed rooms. The modern hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station and free WiFi is provided. The host was very nice and kind. He offered us a lot of information and was very helpful. The room was great, very clean, everything went smooth. I definitely recommend this hostel.
