Beautiful building, super clean, and pretty much exactly halfway on the Shimanami Kaido. One of the best beds we had in our 1 month in Japan. Owners are very nice and are former travellers. Lawson station 5 minutes cycle towards the cycle path.

The hostel is really modern with really spacious capsule room and a lot of nice amenities like towel, pyjama, bathroom kits and water provided just like in regular hotels. There is a convenience store located just on the other side of the road which is very convenient

It was a lovely place to relax while cycling, amazing facilities, super clean, very comfortable, had great common areas to hangout and interact with other travellers (even had a bunch of manga to read including all of slam dunk). The staff were amazing, super accommodating and very friendly, despite arriving very wet from the rain, they helped me be comfortable and relax. The cafe downstairs is also a lovely thing to have here, I didn’t need or want to leave this place at all during the duration of my stay, I was able to meet and interact with some other lovely people there and it was overall an amazing experience. 10/10

I enjoyed the reception and welcome at check in. The place is an old traditional Japanese place, but it’s been kept very nice and clean and the facilities like bathrooms are all renovated. There is a very nice lounge and kitchen. There are tea and coffee, self service. It’s almost in front of the ferry port, and in walking distance (~10 minutes) to Kousanji (temple) and the hill of hope.

Atilano Bandaríkin

Location is quiet at night, spacious room , refrigerator to store snacks, and a good option if you’re cycling the route in two days. Also a powerful shower to cleanse the day’s grime. Helpful staff !
