This lovely hotel is located in the best part of the city for touristic visits; with a room and balconies facing the Sphinx road connecting Luxor and Karnak Temples, it’s 3 minutes walking distance to the Nile River, Luxor Museum, as well as to the Luxor Temple. Taxis and horse carriages are always available at the end of the street, as well as the ferry and sailboat ports that are all 3 to 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And you can walk to Karnak Museum in 25 minutes. The place is very clean, lovely and cozy with a simple and nice decoration. The breakfasts that Mrs. Adel prepares are amazing, and makes you more than full for the day long, with his little boy Muhammed they make your day sunny with a full smile. Mohaz is helpful with everything you need, and off course, Mr. Omar, the manager of the place is a beautiful kind person with the best English that you may find around and he is eager to arrange your travel needs in minutes. As if it’s all is not enough, there is also a beautiful restaurant downstairs 😊. What else you can expect from a small hotel in Luxor?

Ahmed, his wife and the entire family made us feel at home, and treated us as family, they allowed us to experience the local Egyptian culture, we stayed for 6 days and enjoyed every minute, the entire family was very attentive to our needs and helped us with any questions we had. Ahmed made us a private tour package at a excellent price with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Ahmed wife cooked amazing, delicious meals for us, we ate better at magic place than any 5 star restaurants in our visit to Egypt. The property was very clean, very comfortable, the hot water and pressure was outstanding, linen very clean, well located in a typical Egyptian neighborhood, very safe and near all archeological sites. Ahmed thank you for allow us to be part of your family, we arrived as guess and departed as Family, we will definitely come back and stay at Magic place. We highly recommend Magic Place to everyone.

Everything! Up to now it was the best hostel we stayed in during our tour through Egypt. The staff is super nice, as well as the tours organized by them. The included breakfast is quite yummy. They also let us use the nicely cleaned kitchen on the roof top to cook our dinner. We stayed in 102 which was excellent and probably oversized for two people. It included a very well working air condition, with an additional fan and a private bathroom. Up to now it was also the first hostels being really clean and also the first to offer free towels. They even bought extremely cheap and delicious sugar cane juice for us to make sure not to get diddled.

A decent hostel, very conveniently located. Nothing fancy, but has all basic facilities that you would need. Special mention to Mohammed, who goes out of his way to make your stay in Luxor so easy. Be it exchanging money at good rates, getting a fair deal for a tour, booking bus tickets, you need not worry at all, he does everything.. Other staffs, like Ali were also gems. Highly recommended
