Kind staff, great value, amazing pool, right at the beach, good and sufficient amenities. Would recommend booking the 10 bed jungle room rather than the one with 8 beds. A place for a peaceful stay but there are several other hostels in walking distance that you can go to for a party. Still, easy to meet other travelers!

Good place to chill and be close to the nature. The owner is so sweet. The food there is amazing, cooked with love and care like from grandmother. All rooms have a place to work and nice views. Also we enjoyed the river so much! And waterfalls in neighborhood. We could also make a laundry. We extended our stay because it was so good. Highly recommend. Place with a people with beautiful hearts. 😊👌✨

Great friendly people, a lot of dogs and cats, garden with a lot of different fruits, beautiful decorations and paintings, special dinner on some days (Sushi was awesome!) Definitely recommendable

We had an amazing stay at Calma Chicha! waking up on the beach was heavenly. The rooms are beautiful and clean, we had a fan and mosquito net and didn’t get bitten at all. Cindy is so friendly and accommodating! chilling on the hammocks was amazing. We also really loved the local restaurants along the beach. But our number 1 has to be the cafe adjoined to Calma Chicha, with chef Bela from Brazil. the best burgers and açaí we’ve ever tasted! we booked an additional night as soon as we checked in!

Beautiful location near highway but well above it. Very welcoming staff. We highly recommend unit on the end with ocean and jungle views. Nice breakfast! Beach not too far away also...
