The room was large. We have an authentic taste of living in a traditional Japanese home, albeit a very large room. The whole two-storey unit was left all to ourselves after the restaurant below has closed. The host was very kind to have allowed us the use of many of the facilities in the unit, as I believe we were staying for more than 2 nights. There was very thoughtful provision of water and many little packets of tea and snacks as part of the package. All essential facilities (e.g. bathroom, shower, washing machine, dryer) worked well and good.

Masaya was very friendly and provided transportation from the train station.The guesthouse was spacious and I loved the laid back vibe.

A restaurant is located a 3-minute walk away from the accommodation. The owners are very warm and open, it was so nice to get to know them and feel at home in their home. I came to be by myself, for two nights from Tokyo, but ended up meeting some other travellers and waking up early to see the sunrise view of Mt. Fuji with them.
