Situated in Atami in the Shizuoka region with Atami Sun Beach nearby, 熱海温泉 実の別荘 features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Mr. Kim and Aya are wonderful hosts. The property is located on an uphill route, and we would not have been able to walk there from the station. They arranged to pick us up and send us off upon our arrival and departure. Mr. Kim extended us a bonus service when he drove us out for dinner as well. The resturant he had recommended was a real treat! They really made us feel at home and comfortable. The in-house onsen was clean and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was peaceful despite that many students were being hosted at the same time. The kitchenette had both cold and hot beverages for guests. The breakfast was simple but filled us with warmth. I highly recommend this place!

Eat&Stay ROMEY er staðsett í Suruga Ward-hverfinu í Shizuoka, 12 km frá Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival og 50 km frá Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA. Það er með útsýni yfir innri húsgarðinn. Wow! Oceanside views The hosts took me to a wonderful dinner (probably the best one I've had so far in Japan) and taught me how to write haikus. They explained lots of nuisances and generally gave off the best vibes a traveller could ask for. I'm very grateful for their hospitality and kindness, if I ever return to Japan I will 100% be staying here again.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. Easy to find and in a very nice location. Hosts are very kind and helpful!! They went above and beyond to help out, even giving us a ride to the station when it was raining.

Host super kind, we were late for check in but he arranged a solution so everything went smoothly The location is brilliant. Super family friendly

Guesthouse SORA er staðsett í aðeins 42 km fjarlægð frá Koibito Misaki-höfða og býður upp á gistirými í Minamiizu með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og sameiginlegu eldhúsi. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

KiūjálfunOhama-ströndin er í aðeins 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Oli Oli Guesthouse í Shimoda og býður upp á verönd og bar. Gististaðurinn er 7 km frá Shirahama Ohama-ströndinni. Location is prime. Such a close walk to the beach and other coves for snorkeling. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Food at the cafe was so convenient and delicious after spending the day at the beach. Private bathroom in the room.

Apart from 1)the glorious ocean view(the host upgraded our room into one with ocean view) 2)free pick up from nearby places, which many comments have already mentioned, what I really appreciated is that the host was really trying to make our stay more pleasant. There was no toothbrush cup when we first got there, and my friend left her toothbrush on the table when we went out. When we went back she found her toothbrush put in a lovely small toothbrush cup. That was so sweet! The place itself was very nice as well, the weather was pretty good during our stay and we saw many stars at night, perfect place for getting away from the cities and enjoying nature.

The owner showed us through every room and gave us tips for the local area when we checked in. His tips saved us about 6,000 yen in parking and transportation fees. He had about every amenity I could think of and even personally put our dirty laundry (we had been on the road for days) in the laundry machine for us. It was a user-friendly experience. I live in Japan and travel a lot domestically. This is probably the best value you will get out of a stay in a city or the countryside in Japan.
