We traveled by car, and the location and parking lot worked well for that. The owners were very kind and friendly, and Momo was the cutest little host I've ever had! I was really happy staying here!

Toyako Guest House Ponkotan is situated in Lake Toya, in the Toyako Onsen district. With free WiFi, this 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. Incredible, incredible host! Probably the best hospitality during my trip in Japan, and that is saying something! Gave great recommendations for things to do, and even shared some local desserts with me one day. The hostel itself is super clean and cozy, good Wi-Fi!

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Sapporo Guest House 庵 Anne is set in Sapporo, 14 km from Sapporo Station and 25 km from Otaru Station. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. An absolute pleasure will definitely stay here again. Cannot recommend highly enough

O`popo is within a quick walk of the Canal distrcit of Otaru. More than that, the hotel is more like staying in a guest room at someone`s house and very cozy.

Offering quiet street views, BEACH AND FIELD INN is an accommodation set in Sapporo, 3.9 km from Sapporo Station and 10 km from Shin-Sapporo Station. It was such a nice small INN. The bed was super comfy, the room spacious and the showers clean. The INN is mostly made out of wood and it feels so comfy. In the morning they made me coffee. 🥰 It's only a 5-10 min walk to the subway and on the way there is a 7/11. They give you good recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

Set 6.5 km from Sapporo Station, 10 km from Shin-Sapporo Station and 24 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center, Guesthouse OYADO SAPPORO offers accommodation situated in Sapporo. Yoshie San is one of the best host I met in Japan! The atmosphere is amazing, the common room is small but everyone is sharing and chatting freely. I think Yoshie really do a good job to connect each other together :) I think this is a very cool place for solo travellers and backpackers, the bed is surprisingly comfortable:) The room may not suitable for people’s who are looking for a hotel style service. Yet, if you want to chat or having travelling advise, I think you can just stop by and grab a beer. Yoshie San is familiar with Sapporo and have many local recommendations.

Offering quiet street views, Pirka Sapporo is an accommodation located in Sapporo, 2.7 km from Sapporo Station and 12 km from Shin-Sapporo Station. The owners were some of the best people I've met. They are so warm and friendly. The place itself is very clean and well organized. Free miso soup, tea, and coffee in the common area was also very welcomed! There's even a bathtub for those who prefer that over a shower. Very well recommended for anyone to stay!

Boasting quiet street views, Santari features accommodation with a garden, around 35 km from Lake Shikaribetsu. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 41 km from Obihiro Station. It is a place that provides a wonderful experience. The host is polite and patient. Peaceful and I promise that if I have the opportunity I will come back and stay here again.

Shabby House is a 60-year old traditional Japanese home that is situated in Sapporo. Nishisenjuyojo Station is a 3-minute walk away from the property. Kudo-san was very friendly and accommodating. He always went out of his way to help and be kind. His hospitality was truly amazing. I appreciated his recommendations, his cooking and the time spent relaxing and talking. It was also fun to hang out with other guests. There was convenient access to nearby, tram and grocery store and restaurants. It was also an amazing value.
