The food wash fresh and delicious. The staff was so so kind, helpful and accommodating. My boyfriend and I would highly recommend staying at Village Bali. It was quiet, VERY close to the beach and away from the hustle bustle of Uluwatu. I could not be happier with our choice

Melali felt like a home in Bali and was our favourite accommodation of the trip. It is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene but so close you can pop out and retreat as you please. Elise and Liam are amazing hosts that made us feel welcomed and helped us with great recommendations for food (indonesian and western), sites to see as well as local knowledge of where and when to surf for our abilities while also beating the crowds (invaluable in Bali!) The staff are lovely and very considerate. The building itself is beautiful and the breakfast is better than you'll find anywhere.

The aircon had problems on the first day and the girls at the front were quick to fix it. They were also kind enough to cut us up some fresh fruit to enjoy. We loved our stay! Nick has also compiled a list of cafes, restaurants and things to do around the area which were super useful as we were new to the area. We recommend doing the temple yoga which is about a 4-minute walk away!

That said it was perfect for me, quiet, 2 pools, great location and the staff were amazing! As a solo traveller the host was all too happy to take me on his bike anywhere I needed to go, or Gojek was super simple to access, they can take you to beautiful beaches. The room was comfortable, my bed was good and the aircon worked well. This was one of my best Bali stay experiences.
