One of the most beautiful place in our 14 day trip is the Atta Safari Resort. The owner Asanka was very friendly and arranged our safari at 6.00 am. It was a very exciting trip for us and the driver Mr. Janaka made it an unforgettable experience for us. The river flowing in front of the hotel and the sweet song of many birds are very attractive. Our dinner was very tasty and everyone who comes to Udawala can say that this is an ideal place to spend two or three days.

When we returned to the campsite our path was lit by kerosene lanterns, magical! The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and the presentation in the unique setting was unforgettable. I would recommend this for families, couples, or friend groups. This is an experience you won’t soon forget.

A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

At the hotel rooms are fitted with air conditioning, a desk, a terrace with a mountain view, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, bed linen and towels. The rooms will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Everything! Kottawatta surprised us at every turn; from the cold facial towels upon entry to the poolside drinks to an amazing curry for dinner. As a plus, the room was extremely comfortable. Our safari organized through the hotel was exceptional!

Steps from Udawalawe National Park, Kottawatta Village offers a peaceful and scenic getaway from the city and night camping. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. The on-site Rose Restaurant serves Western, Chinese and Sri Lankan food. People were really friendly and helped us by everything, nice accommodation and two swimming pools :) We would come for sure again! We expired for two more nights :)

International and traditional Sri Lankan dishes are served by the chef on demand, at the main restaurant. Athgira River Camping offers a great outdoor dining experience as well as a barbecue dinner and cooking demonstrations. Real wild cocktails and a nice wine selection are available as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the pool area was nice. They arranged the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The driver took us around the park.

Free private parking is available on site. Absolutely beautiful property with wonderful accommodating staff who were so helpful. Madu was so wonderful and his cooking was absolutely delicious. We are so glad we stayed here.

Barbecue dinner is provided around a campfire. Free WiFi is available in the public areas of the property. Super kind and friendly staff. Definitely the best of the camp. The tents are super well equipped. You feel you are in a camp without compromising on comfort. The setting is very nice, and the vibe at night is awesome with the bonfire and the fire lamps. Great option to stay one night if you want to do safari in the afternoon and in the morning.
