The huge garden which is a common area at the same time was my favorite thing. I honestly have never seen a hostel like that. There are many areas where you can chill and meet other travellers. The vibe here is very relaxed. The owner was super friendly and helpful as well. There are bonfires every evening. Instruments to jam on etc. The food is delicious here!

These spacious tents are not located in the Fort premises but in the camp 40 km away at the foot of private sand dunes. Everything was absolutely amazing, we had a wonderful stay and the hosts are extremely kind! Definitely recommend masala chai on the rooftop in the evening.. the view and atmosphere are magic

This tent's standout feature is the fireplace. Guests will find a refrigerator and a tea and coffee maker in the kitchen. The tent also features a barbecue. Everything was perfect at Elefantastic. The staff was helpful, the accomodations were beautiful and the breakfast was superb. It couldn't have been better. Thanks!

Spent two nights here wanting to get away from the city for a while and it did not disappoint. The manager went above and beyond In helping with safari bookings and transport help. The nomadic backpackers hostel is inside the fort and it provides great views. The rooms are quite clean. On the terrace you can eat breakfast with a nice view. The best part was the safari organized by the hostel owner we did overnight tours we we had great experience

Laying back on the sand dune while watching Milky Way on the clear night sky was my memorable experience in the desert camp. I highly recommend fellow tourists to take this opportunity to explore legendary Thar desert. The camels of Kamal (our human host 😁) are good and well behaved boys. So we do not need to be afraid of riding these well trained camels and watching the amazing panorama view of Thar desert on their back. We are served with freshly cooked meal with Rajastani style. I admit that it is so delicious and mouth watery. Having dinner under the open sky and chatting with our guides and fellow travellers, listening live Rajastani folk music (it is a thing we should not miss), all are cherries on the top. Thanks Kamal, Sidhu and Ba for their helping hand and showing warmly Rajastani spirit.

Providing free toiletries, this tent includes a private bathroom with a shower and slippers. From a female, european solo traveller ;) Price-quality ratio is unmatched, I'd say. This is a very nice, budget-friendly place. It's clean and tidy. The host is there to advice for anything you might need and has some great local recommendations, for quality, local food, good views, shopping where the national tourists shop too (so at very reasonable prices) etc. etc. The location is great, as it's in walking distance (10-15 mins) from the centre and the fort, but it's far enough away from the main road to not have all of the noise of the traffic :D So, you can feel cozy and get some rest, but you're close to everything :) I also booked my desert camp with Ali and it was AMAZING!!! Desert Vista Camp státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði og verönd, í um 45 km fjarlægð frá Jaisalmer Fort. Gestir geta nýtt sér svalir og sólarverönd. It was amazing experience to stay at this camp in the middle of the desert! I met amazing people, delicious food , good chats with locals, sunset and sunrises are beautiful 🤩 for sure i will come back here again!
