The driver to Luxor (i even didn’t know his name) is really nice, careful, and thoughtful. He drove us to 2 temples along the way in an unbelievable hot day. Our whole family likes him a lot. Hope he has a safe trip back home.

Nähtävää kävelyetäisyydellä( haudat, rinteessä näköalapaikka, kameliratsastuksen päässä aavikolla muinainen koptiluostari. Nubialaiskylä moskeijoineen. Quest housessa erittäin viihtyisä kattoterassi keittiöllä yhteiseen oleskeluun. Huoneiden yhteydessä viihtyisä olohuone ja parveke. Erinomainen, monipuolinen aamiainen ja mehua puristettuna tuoreista hedelmistä..Eka iltana saimme myös kutsun yhteiselle illalliselle pihamaalle paikallisten ystävien seuraan. Joka ilta kattoterassilla oli rentoa yhdessäoloa ja musiikkia ja yökahvinkeittorituaali. Todella kodikasta ja rentoa. Tunsin itseni tervetulleeksi. Paljon pieniä kivoja eleitä isäntäväeltä kuten hedelmäsalaattia tai kahvia, kun päivällä lepäilin riippumatossa tai istuin päivittämässä uutisia säkkituolissa loikoillen. Hulppat maisemat myös siitä terassilta. Yksinkertaiset, erittäin siistit ja viihtyisät huoneet. Vastasi hyvin mielikuvaa, jonka sain ennakkoon. Jään kaipaamaan nubialaista ystävällisyyttä ja hymyjä. Ehdottomasti pidemmänkin vierailun arvoinen paikka.

Majoitusyksikössä on 4 vuodetta. Kabara Nubian House has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Abu Simbel. The accommodation features room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests. Hospitality, everyone was warm and welcoming, the owner was very helpful and helped us to get things for the right prices, even drove us around town. The rooms were very clean. We stayed in December and it had heating, and hot water for shower.

Situated in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Nubian Farm Aswan features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a bar and free WiFi. True Nubian Village experience complete with farm animals, freshly prepared Nubian meals, and excellent hospitality from the staff. (Note, this is not a hotel with the usual amenities like memory foam mattresses, towels in abundance, extra toiletries, central air, etc. If you are looking for that, then this is not the place for you.) Mamoud made the different for us during our stay. He is the guest services manager and he was punctual with responding to any requests we may have had and supplying us with information to get around town etc. Also a plus, the property is on the Nile River, which presented multiple opportunities for amateur and professional photo shoots. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed this experience and the people we encountered here. Great stay for a genuine Nubian village experience.
