The hospitality at Southern Star was lovely, it was so nice to have a mini break away in such a lovely location. We were truly able to unwind and appreciate all the offerings. The environment was so comfortable. I enjoyed having a BBQ dinner in this amazing tent, and the supermarket is nearby just 10 mins drive.

Purling Brook Falls Gwongorella is a tranquil rainforest retreat located at the edge of Springbrook National park. It’s was serene and beautifully peaceful

Noah Creek Eco Huts is a small family business that offer exclusive eco-friendly lodges and glamping accommodation in the heart of the Noah Creek Rainforest Reserve, the largest private World Heritage... It's definitely not your usual stay — instead of the common commodities think dinner by the fire (making both is especially satisfying outdoors), a shower and a bathtub in the jungle, beautiful territory with a creek, trails and lots of animals (we spent 2 mornings with flying foxes). And the bed in our Bower Hut was super comfy. Highly recommend this place as a couples retreat and a nice base to explore the Daintree area. Do note that there is no Wi-Fi in the outer huts, no power outlets and just a couple USB ports for your phones. But sometimes that's a good thing) P.S. Andy and Netty are very nice people, and you'll definitely meet them and their puddle Rufus when you walk to the reception for some Wi-Fi)

The self contained villas are amazing. Romantic if you want them to be -- we travelled with a little one so we were there for a family holiday but we also didn't feel like she was going to disturb anyone since the villas are nicely spaced out!
