Our stay was absolutely wonderful - the property was immaculate in every respect. Everything was very thoughtfully designed to provide an amazing stay for guests, and it felt like truly no expense was spared to create a beautiful space. There were many thoughtful touches provided by the host throughout our stay.

Wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen!

Featuring free bikes, the eco-friendly Herdade do Ananás is located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from Portas da Cidade. Great 3 nights here! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was to die for! Will return on all our trips to Sao Miguel.

The owner even provided some buns, coffee pods, ground coffee, tea, vinegar, olive oil, jam. The swimming pool was lovely and the ocean pool was gorgeous! The accommodations were perfect!!

We loved staying for 3 nights with Caroline, her dogs and her horses. We wish that it had been longer. Caroline is an amazing woman and an inspiration. Her home and gardens are beautiful and in a perfect location outside of the city for exploring Sao Miguel and when coming from or going to the airport. Coffee, tea, cookies and fruit were always available.

Das Convento de São Francisco begrüßt Sie in einem Franziskanerkloster aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. A wonderful place to stay, tranquility, picture perfect, home-made breakfast of local products, friendly staff, architecturally restored with respect to the original building, great little village 5 minutes walk full of activities that equal what's available in the city, highly recommend to stay here rather than Ponta Delgada which is reachable 20-25 mins by car if needed - would return to stay at the Convent without question.

Das Quinta da Abelheira ist ein ehemaliges Sommerhaus und bietet einen Außenpool, der von einer großen Rasenfläche umgeben ist. Sie wohnen in Fajã de Baixo, 4 km von Ponta Delgada in Azores entfernt. On the morning of my check-out, I was the only guest at the Quinta. However, the breakfast was as big and as vast as I had seen in the photos, I got to try a bit of everything and it was all delicious (the Azorean cheeses are very tasty). Even though I had a late check-in, the front desk staff was very friendly and, on my check-out day, they allowed me to use to use the common areas up until I had to go to the airport for my flight.

Das Quinta de Santa Clara ist eine gemütliche Unterkunft, 22 km von der berühmten Lagune Lagoa Fogo entfernt, der höchsten Lagune der Insel São Miguel. This accommodation is a perfect place if you want to have on one hand peace and quiet in the morning/evening and on the other, a very convenient starting point to travel around the island. It is very spacious, air-conditioned and nicely furnished. The beds are very comfortable. You have access to the pool and sunbeds and a washing machine. Each apartment has its own terrace. Towel service is provided daily, together with dark towels for the beach/ hot water places around the island. There is a daily cleaning service. They give you a welcome carton of milk and some local bread. A bottle of filtered water is also provided daily. You have a tea/coffee set as well. They have a couple of orange trees in the garden, but it was not the season for oranges when we stayed there. But we did use lettuce and herbs to our salds every morning! Paulo Roberto who introduced us to the place, is very professional, helpful and resourceful! He gave us all the necessary tourist info and tips how to get the most out of the island as we were really into visiting every corner of Sao Miguel. Communication process was very smooth and effective; Paulo responded immediately to all our messages before our stay. There is enough space for everybody to park the car and it is conveniently located - just a quick drive from the airport, the center of Ponta Delgada, a supermarket, a pineapple plantation and some beaches. The one we recommend is Agua d'Alto Beach in the south of the island. We are definitely going to come back, especially that we had 11 sunny days on Sao Miguel, which added up to our amazing experience! Thank you!
