From the incredibly nice and helpful staff (shoutout to Pedro and Claudia), to the quality and choice of the breakfast buffet, everything was very much above 3 stars in this small and beautiful hotel overlooking the river.

Attractively located in Lisbon, Independente Bica features air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. i love that the hotel is located just walking distance to most tourist attractions and the metro. Aside from that i love the interior design of the hotel its so young and fresh and i their bed are very comfy!

Centrally located in Lisbon, the renovated Le Consulat is set in the Luís de Camões Square and is just a few minutes’ walk from the Chiado shopping area. Free WiFi is available. Location is fantastic with loads of eateries around, as well as walking distance to a lot of sights. Staff were all friendly, cheerful, and helpful, both the day and night teams. The taxi service they used also turned out to be the cheapest and the best amongst the various ones we used going to and from the airport. Roon we had looked onto the square so it was great. We could hear the trams and the buskers but that did not bother us. Afterall we wanted to be in the activity area.
