Det nyrenoverte 4-stjernershotellet Hotel Baía Azul har en ideell beliggenhet kun 4 minutters gange fra stranden i Funchal, og tilbyr 3 bassenger, 3 restauranter, et spa og en solterrasse med utsikt... Honestly everything! Maybe one of the best hotel stays ever. The sun deck balcony is amazing place to relax and chill, the hotel staff is great, the views stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

4-stjerners Hotel Alto Lido ble renovert i 2018, og ligger i Funchals flotte område Lido, 2,5 km fra bykjernen. Excellent hotel, great facilities, staff and breakfast. Could not fault this hotel.

Dette hotellet er en del av Vila Porto Mare-feriestedet, og tilbyr fire restauranter, seks barer og fem bassenger. Porto Mare har en stor tropisk hage ved Atlanterhavet. Very clean. Many services are available, in the hotel and around it. Close to the beach and not far from the center. The room was huge!

The Cliff Bay ligger høyt oppe på en naturlig halvøy, og tilbyr panoramautsikt over Atlanterhavet, privat adkomst til havet, innendørs- og utendørsbassenger, en restaurant med 2 Michelin-stjerner og... I tillegg til stort og fint rom og tilgang til sjøbad, vil eg nemna at rommet var utstyrt med tøyveske til å ha med ting til badeanlegget osv i - veldig praktisk. Sentrifuge til vått badetøy var også svært praktisk.

Located in Funchal, within 600 metres of Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km of Formosa Beach, Vila Vicência provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. Beautiful location and facilities, the indoor pool and jacuzzi were great for a rainy day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room itself was huge with a private balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel for part of our honeymoon and loved our experience. The property was beautiful, the views spectacular, staff helpful and kind, room spacious and clean, and food fresh and delicious. We loved being able to hear the waves against the cliffs and the birds chirping. It's also helpful to note that you can benefit from using the amenities at the sister property next door as well.

Set within extensive gardens of various subtropical trees and a banana plantation, Quinta da Casa Branca features a boutique hotel and an elegant manor house and offers a heated pool and rooms with... Excellent for cultural experience and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed for 1 night only and it was good. Otherwise, we prefer something more modern, but happy we visited the Quinta

Set within a leafy garden, this hotel boasts an outdoor pool overlooking Funchal coastal cliffs. Pestana Vila Lido Madeira Ocean Hotel‘s studios are spacious and decorated with soft beige colours. The staff was really friendly, location is great, as hotel is right by the ocean. In the evening the sound od waves is the only thin one hears. Self service buffet breakfast was great, there is a lot of choises. When weather was good, you can eat on the terrace. And semi circular room gives beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs near Funchal. Would come again!

Breakfast included, also liked a variety of food choices: from chia pudding to potato nuggets and fresh fruits. Especially being a vegeterian I found everyday what to eat, for vegans it would be difficult. 2. The view from our room. We were speechless.. You can watch the sea, sunrise and sunsets just from your balcony. Huge thanks to staff’cause we asked specifically this room. 3. All of the staff was super friendly. 4. Room service. 5. Private parking (but chargeable 6€/day). 6. Outdoor pools and plenty of space for sunbathing. 6. The birthday surprise on the house and mini gift after check out. So nice and caring! 7. The mini bar by the pool! 8. Live music (depends on the day).
