Everything was just so great in this hotel. They have very nice scenery and beautiful onsen. The breakfast and dinner are both delicious. We would like express our gratitude the staff at the hotel. I have inadvertently left a down jacket at the hotel. They kept it nicely and helped me to send it back home.

Built in 1722, Okyakuya is situated in the historical district of Kurokawa Onsen district. Located only 100 metres from Kurokawa Onsen, Free WiFi is provided and private parking is available on site. Unforgettable experience, this place is amazing. It was the first time for me and my wife in a Ryokan. There are various inside and outside Onsen, and also a private Onsen. The service is great and the food is wonderful. The employees were extremely kind and dedicated in our well-being.

Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan features 5 hot-spring baths, including a 30-metre long cave bath. perfect. staff was very nice, location incredible and onsen just magic. I recommend you to take the diner as it was excellent

Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. Enjoyed the quaint garden path along the river on the property. There were many baths (with great water quality), some of which are private, but with no extra charge. The outdoor pools were heavenly, one of which was by the riverside and a waterfall view. The room was clean and huge with two very comfortable twin beds and a balcony. The Japanese-style breakfast was great, although if one wants a western style, it may be a problem. The service was impeccable. You couldn’t ask for more pleasant and helpful staff.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. It was excellent! It was the highlight of our trip! Everything was amazing and very relaxing. Excellent location, accommodation, Onsen, staff, food, everything!

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring... Gorgeous traditional ryokan, with beautifully appointed rooms—we had one of the en-suite onsen baths, and I highly recommend it! The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

Boasting spacious indoor and outdoor hot spring baths surrounded by lush greenery, Ryokan Wakaba provides Japanese-style accommodation in the peaceful mountain area. Service was exceptional and should be the standard for Japanese service.

Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Kurokawa hot-spring district, Ryokan Ichinoi offers Japanese-style accommodations with Japanese Yukata robes. Very nice hospitality of staff and authentic service with true ryokan experience. Tasty food dishes for both dinner and breakfast. The public onsen has an indoor and outdoor bath, the latter having a really nice atmosphere due to the natural surroundings. Although we had no private bathroom, the room was large, very clean, silent and comfortable overall.

Kurokawa Mori No Kiki terletak di daerah Kurokawa Onsen bagi Minamioguni, 41km dari Gunung Aso dan 49km dari Tasik Kinrinko. We were really happy with our stay. The host was very helpful, professional and friendly. The furniture and all appliances are of high quality and felt luxurious. The private onsen was very nice as well. The house is located remotely and has a unique and exclusive feel to it. All in all we felt that we had a special stay.
