Amazing food (evening and breakfast), bathing in private outside tube while listening to the stream below, very friendly and helpful stuff making us feel right at home

A quiet traditional Japanese inn along the Kiyotakigawa River, Momojiya of Takao offers Japanese-style rooms with forest views, public baths with mountain views and free wired internet in public... Beautiful ryokan on the outskirts of kyoto. Dinner and breakfast were provided. I was impressed how much food they offered. We used the private onsen in the evening and it was an experience second to none. Staff were super friendly and sweet. Highly recommend staying for 1 night to get out of the hustle and bustle for a change

A 10-minute drive from Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ryokan Yamazaki offers a hot public bath and serves breakfast and traditional dinners for an additional fee. I enjoyed this experience at the Ryokan Yamazaki! I definitely recommended this place. I also recommended the restaurant as well. The food is tasty especially the Japanese breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly enough and there is a beautiful little garden outside (perfect to take picture) see you soon !!! Again thank you
