Perfectly located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a 7mins walk to Kyoto Kyocera Museum. Staffs are energetic, friendly and always eager to help. Calm and tasteful interior, woody scent, quiet, beautiful outdoor garden. Lovely spacious room with open bath, comfortable bed, relaxing atmosphere, fun teaware to play with. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Kaiseki dinner of the inhouse restaurant was also delicious and well presented.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- ligger i Kyoto och har ett fitnesscenter, en trädgård, en restaurang och en bar. This hotel was exceptional. So calm and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious especially the scrambled eggs. I was also very happy that the kitchen could cater to vegetarians. The staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more. The room was also great, nice bath and comfortable bed. Everything I needed was there. I can't wait to visit again.

Giappo Franca Kyoto har ett perfekt läge i området Sakyo Ward i Kyoto, mindre än 1 km från Shoren-in Temple, 14 minuters promenad från Heian-helgedomen och 1,2 km från Gion Shijo station. Felt at home as this is not a chain hotel so the staff were kind and polite, but seemed friendlier and intimate. They have a large manga section that sets the "homey" atmosphere, and they have many recommendations/booklets about restaurants, activities, and sights around Kyoto for that month. This was in a location that is somewhat off the road but if you're okay with walking an extra 5 minutes, then it's a great place to be. The bus stop from Kyoto Station to Ginkakuji Temple is located nearby and situated in a way where you can avoid some of the crowds awaiting the bus near Gion. The Sanjo strip of activities/shops that leads into the Nishiki market is a fun day activity. Furthermore, the Sanjo station is nearby if you want to take the Keihan Main line all the way down to Osaka for the day (43 mins).

Cleanliness: Super clean and designed well. Top floor is guest house and couple lives downstairs. 4. Great view: Overlooks temple out the window and transitional Japanese homes.

The location was perfect for KYOTO, and the place was cozy and best for family who wants to sleep after a long day city tour. The receptionist and staff are all very accomodating. We requested for extra pillows which they have easily given us without any additional fees. I would like to come back and stay in the same place.
