Calm and tasteful interior, woody scent, quiet, beautiful outdoor garden. Lovely spacious room with open bath, comfortable bed, relaxing atmosphere, fun teaware to play with. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Kaiseki dinner of the inhouse restaurant was also delicious and well presented.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- tiene centro de fitness, jardín, restaurante y bar en Kioto. This hotel was exceptional. So calm and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious especially the scrambled eggs. I was also very happy that the kitchen could cater to vegetarians. The staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more. The room was also great, nice bath and comfortable bed. Everything I needed was there. I can't wait to visit again.

Giappo Franca Kyoto está muy bien situado en el barrio de Sakyo Ward, Kioto, a 11 min a pie de Templo Shoren-in, a 1,2 km de Santuario Heian y a 13 min a pie de Estación de tren Gion Shijo. Felt at home as this is not a chain hotel so the staff were kind and polite, but seemed friendlier and intimate. They have a large manga section that sets the "homey" atmosphere, and they have many recommendations/booklets about restaurants, activities, and sights around Kyoto for that month. This was in a location that is somewhat off the road but if you're okay with walking an extra 5 minutes, then it's a great place to be. The bus stop from Kyoto Station to Ginkakuji Temple is located nearby and situated in a way where you can avoid some of the crowds awaiting the bus near Gion. The Sanjo strip of activities/shops that leads into the Nishiki market is a fun day activity. Furthermore, the Sanjo station is nearby if you want to take the Keihan Main line all the way down to Osaka for the day (43 mins).

Cleanliness: Super clean and designed well. Top floor is guest house and couple lives downstairs. 4. Great view: Overlooks temple out the window and transitional Japanese homes.
