Very friendly welcoming us. Our room was very well equipped, amenities missing could be picked in lobby. Floor plan of the room is perfect. The bed was very comfy. Room heating worked quiet and well. Design of the room is very appealing. Breakfast is great price value rate, nothing really missing. The sauna with long opening hours is very clean and beautiful. The Vischio: Wonderful.

We stayed in a family room A, very nice and comfortable for a family of 5. The place is super clean with all the things we need.

Temple view from the windows. Outside smoking area is designed as a zen garden. Yukatas provided for daily use. The staff were so polite and hospitable, one gentleman even offered a bit of history and a poem about Japan written by an American author. Beds were very comfortable. Very authentic experience, minus the tetami mats.

The room was very clean and the bathroom was significantly larger than other hotels we stayed at in Japan. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is quite new, amenities are awesome. Space is enough for 3 ppl with 2 fully opened suitcases. The location is within adequate walking distance (~10 mins) from Kyoto station. Staff are super friendly and are the best English speakers I've encountered in the 7-day trip.
