Less than 50 metres from Ischia’s beaches, Hotel Maronti is a 5-minute drive from Barano d'Ischia. It offers a traditional restaurant, a bar and a sun terrace. A sweet breakfast is provided daily. We arrived on our scooter and were welcomed by the two lovely brothers who seem to run the hotel. We couldn't drive the scooter all the way to the hotel but they helped us find a great parking about two minutes away (cost about 3 eur for one night). The brothers and the rest of the staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of. The room was very clean, not very modern but in a classic style, we felt like home. Lovely view of the mountain and a bit of the sea. Super close to the beach with crystal clear water and serveral nice restaurants. We would love to come back!

Hotel Parco Smeraldo Terme, sa svojim otvorenim i zatvorenim termalnim bazenima, nalazi se direktno na plaži Maronti, jednoj od najlepših na Išiji. We are in love with Ischia and specially The Smeraldo hotel. Everything was perfect: the helpful and friendly staff ( we are impressed from the 4 star service) ; the delicious and tasty food; the clean and specious rooms ; the facilities and the beach which is a bit steep but with crystal clear water .

Situated right on the beach in Ischia, Hotel Angelino features an outdoor pool in its garden and views of the sea. The hotel has a sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. I had a wonderful time at Hotel Angelino. A down-to-earth family run hotel right on the sea. My room was big, clean and comfortable with the most incredible view. I fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. The staff were friendly and helpful, I felt very safe and welcomed. I loved that the hotel exuded old school character rather than modern sterility. Just some information for anyone thinking of walking to the hotel instead of taking the water taxi from Maronti. Currently, the pathway only extends to the Hotel Gondola, the last stretch is sand only. That's not a problem if you have a backpack, but with my sadly heavy luggage, I got stranded there. I made a quick call to the hotel and they very kindly came to my rescue and helped me get my bags in. I would recommend to get a water taxi for 3 Euros at Maronti beach (from the bus stop, once you come down the stairs, straight in front of you on the beach). Mention you need to go to the stop 'Cavascura', which is the next stop along the beach and it will take you straight to the hotel Angelino. It's fine to walk back and forth without luggage along the beach and pathway to Maronti though and I often caught the bus up to the port from there or the water taxi across to Sant Angelo for day trips. I look forward to visiting again one day in the future.

With a seafront location, Hotel Regina del Mare features a panoramic terrace and an outside thermal pool with sun loungers and parasols. It is located on Ischia Island. The beach lays at the foot of the hotel and right behind there is a path leading to roman hot springs - or to San Angelo - both wonderful places to visit. You can also catch a taxi-boat and take a ride, instead of walking around the hill.

Set in central Barano d'Ischia, Hotel La Luna features a large garden with swimming pool, plus a spa centre. Parking and WiFi in public areas are free of charge. A very nice family hotel which is being refurbished, with comfier rooms, a pool and sunbathing and bar area, sauna and massage offer. The staff were absolutely brilliant - so friendly and helpful (especially Mihaela in the dining area and Luisa in reception). The beach is a 5-minute drive away, and the hotel offers transport to and from if required. They also drive you to and from the port area and will easily call a car if you want to get anywhere else on the island.

This hotel is located next to Maronti Beach, 1.5 km along the coast from Sant'Angelo. It offers access to a private beach, thermal pools, hydromassage showers and a sauna. It was amazing, the location, the people working at the hotel, breakfast!

Set in a restored 18th-century villa, Albergo Villa Giusto has sea views over Ischia's Maronti Bay. I liked being up and away from downtown. The property was beautiful, the room was small but had everything we needed. Host went above and beyond for us.

Absolutely spotless all over Very friendly, highly professional staff Great location within 5 minutes from the longest beach in Ischia and one of the nicest Beach towels and beds are included, steps are swept regularly leading to the beach and pleasure to walk on even barefoot Food is soo good that we had a great enjoyment the whole week. Every day menu was different and desserts exceeded our expectations Breakfasts feel us so much that we didn’t need lunch Service is excellent Thermal pool with all kind of water massages and sauna arrangement are superb

Set on Maronti Beach, La Gondola is a hotel with a thermal spa and pool in Barano d'Ischia. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and traditionally furnished rooms with a terrace and Tyrrhenian Sea... Nice and cozy atmosphere. Delicious food. Great facilities. Nice view. Hot pool, sea side, very reserved at the end of the beach.
