On the main street of Bergamo's Città Alta district, Hotel Piazza Vecchia is near the Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. A very good hotel, located in the middle of the old town, 5 min walk from the Funicolare Città Alta and another 15 min walk or 5 min bus ride from city center..very pleasant stuff and nice break fast..recomended

Much larger room than expected. Our hosts Titina and Nadia were very welcoming and gave us ideas for sightseeing and things to do during our stay. They also provided discounted tickets to a local exhibition. The apartment is very central, just 1 minute walk from the funicular.

It was our first experience to stay in hotel with full electronic check in and it was fun. Felt like quest to be solved first 5 minutes, but all instructions were clear and we enjoyed it. I guess that's how hotels of the future will look like. Very clean, very comfortable beds, perfect location.

Casa Loro is extremely well situated, very nicely furnished with all the comfort one can expect, a small apartment in the main street of the old town, quite quiet and Andrea, the owner, is very nice. He came to the Casa Loro as soon as we called, and he had reserved the car parking for us to recharge the electric car, and then offered the covered car park near the apartment. All was very close and handy. A very nice stay in a beautiful little apartment!
