The hotel is close to Malioboro street (obviously) and in front of the train station, which is a plus for getting to Prambanan or Malang. The staff is nice and helpful, the room is modern and large with a comfy bed. The soundproof is ok considering the country standards. The restaurant food was also good! Also free water refill in the hallway so it’s a nice gesture to avoid plastic bottles.

The hotel is in the middle of a busy walking area, with tons of art, shops, restaurants and parks. The hotel sits just off the Main Street and is located in the upper floors (so it is quiet!). The hotel has a wonderful pool and dining area on the 8th floor, and the rooms have views. The room amenities were all complementary (surprise!). The room was exceptionally clean (the whole hotel had a very zen and clean feel to it. The bed was soft! Something I missed in my travels across Indonesia. For the price, this hotel is a great value (IMHO).
