Monastery is the best hotel is the best hotel I’ve stayed at during my 2 months in Europe! Sofia and the reception staff, Greg at delicious morning breakfast, and the housekeeping ladies are divine. One would be foolish not to stay at this excellent, gorgeous, peaceful hotel! And the location was perfect, located in peaceful Buda, and 10 minutes by metro to Pest.

The 4-star hotel Castle Garden is located in the first district of Budapest, at the famous tourist attraction of Buda Castle. We really liked the area, it was quiet, clean with a lot of green spaces. A very big advantage would be the location very close to the Buda citadel, 10-15 minutes on foot; very close to the Metro/bus/tram station.

We found the location to be excellent. Not far from town, restaurants and attractions. Great little cafe across the road towards the bridge with great coffee and croissants. The booking and process of obtaining the codes and card for the room was easily explained by the nice owner just prior to arrival. The room was adequate and quiet with good facilities.
