Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk. The front door men were amazing and helpful. Front desk was good too.

Nice hotel, staff was absolutely the best. Nikos was.our man, and the friendliness and service he provided was more than perfect. But the rest of the staff didn't do any worse. The rooms are clean, but with a bit of wearness. The front desk, restaurant and bar area are of newer date. Great food in the restaurant 😊

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Terrace hotel offers accommodation in Edinburgh, 500 metres from Edinburgh Playhouse. Lovely place to stay right besides Calton Hill! Loved what a beautiful and quite street this hotel was on, while also being walking distance from midtown. Despite our room being on the top floor (lots of stairs!) I would definitely come here, if I should visit Edinburgh again! Seen reviews dissatisfied with the breakfast arrangement, but I think getting it delivered in a bag is actually quite practical and lets you decide when you'd like to eat it.
