A charming hotel tucked in a residential area which guaranteed a quiet good night's sleep! Wonderful Scottish cooked breakfast was the highlight of the trip. Nothing to complain about except the two flights of stairs to haul up my suitcase!!!

This luxurious 5-star retreat has a fine-dining restaurant and romantic bedrooms about 3 km from the Royal Mile. Prestonfield is surrounded by gardens and a golf course. All fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed food, service and surroundings.

The Scholar is a newly refurbished hotel located in the beautiful grounds of the Pollock Estate, just a few minutes’ walk from Arthurs Seat, Holyrood Park and the Meadows and within walking distance... This small cozy place was absolutely worth staying in. The room was very neat and clean. It was cozy in a cold weather. I usually struggle in sleeping in hotels but I must say that I had a good sleep there. The staff are extra friendly and helpful. They were very helpful even in giving directions around the city. The location of the hotel is very convenient and the bus stop is right at the gate of the hotel. I definitely recommend it.

This 4-star townhouse hotel is located within the quiet residential area of Newington, just 1 mile from Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile and vibrant city centre. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. It is a great location and very quiet at night. The staff went above and beyond to help us find a place to park our car for the week.

This elegant 4-star Victorian hotel offers luxurious rooms featuring iPod docks, flat-screen TVs, sherry and shortbread. I booked this entirely online for someone who was coming up and everything from service, to room etc. were all very good based on the feedback I received from the person.

The beds were super comfy, our room was clean and elegant. Despite it is a very busy street by buses, inside our room we didn’t hear a noise from outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
