Ideally located in the centre of Madrid, Room Mate Alba offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a bar. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. The breakfast was a delicious, the cocktails were great as well. The rooms are so nice, the bed is so comfortable and the overall experience was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Madrid. We have been to Madrid before and we love Plaza St. Ana - which is around the corner (coincidental) and our beloved book store from the desnivel magazine is 1 min. walk as well. Prado is a foot walk away as well the Plaza Mayor, the Opera, the Palace, Gran via, Chueca..... If we come back to Madrid again, for sure this is the choice :)

Set in a beautiful 18th-century building, Catalonia Las Cortes offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. It is located in Madrid City Centre, 10 minutes' walk from El Prado Museum. Las Cortes is centrally located near St Anna square. We reached most places by foot. The staff is friendly and helpful (e.g. with reservations). The breakfast is tasty and varied (though same day-to-day), the lunch refreshments are very convenient. We had to check out late and got and extension for a very reasonable price. The sound isolation is excellent (though if you prefer to keep the window open, it's noisy to very late hours). The price is above average, yet the value is excellent.

Catalonia Puerta del Sol is set in a magnificent 18th-century building in the historic centre of Madrid, a few minutes from Puerta del Sol. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Location is fabulous for getting around best part of town including the Royal Palace and the Prado Museum. The staff was open and friendly. On my checkout day I twisted my knee and limped into the lobby. The front desk lent me a crutch till I could get a cane. Unbelievable service. The breakfasts were excellent.

Located in the Barrio de las Letras, Gran Hotel Inglés - The Leading Hotels of the World is set on a 19th century building, and offers 5* accommodation 300 metres from Puerta del Sol and only 600... Great location, nice staff and nicht bar.

Attractively set in the centre of Madrid, Atocha Hotel Madrid, Tapestry Collection by Hilton features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a garden. The staff was amazing since the moment we entered the hotel! Everyone was supportive and empathetic. The room was well decorated and the bed was really comfortable. At night we also had a drink at the bar and the atmosphere was so relaxing!

Ideally set in Madrid, Cálamo Guesthouse features a continental breakfast and free WiFi. The entrance seems a bit dark, but once you get in it is very nice, great beds and showers, and very nice with breakfast vouchers. And the staff is extremely kind and welcoming! Recommend!

Set in Madrid city centre, Axel Hotel Madrid - Adults Only offers accommodation only 15 minutes’ walk away from Chueca, known by its LGBT atmosphere and welcoming entertainment offer, the hotel is... Location wonderfull! Was possible to visit a lot of things by foot. Room was big and comfortable, and the quality of breakfast made the diference. Special thankfull for the staff Team. These guys were incredible with us.

Centrally located, One Shot Prado 23 offers design-rooms with TV, and free Wi-Fi. Just 150 metres from Plaza Santa Ana Square, the hotel is a 7-minute walk from Puerta del Sol. My favourite thing about the hotel was the friendly reception staff. They were all very attentive and made us happy by leaving little compliments for the child in our room. The hotel is located in a marvellous place. Very close walking distance to all the places we want to visit. Thanks to the balcony room, it has spacious and bright rooms. it is also very satisfactory in terms of cleanliness.
