The staff went out of their way to be attentive. They even noticed that we kept going back for more coffee and asked us if we would like an entire coffee pot for ourselves. The check in and check out was speedy and excellent. The staff speaks very well English.

We booked a room with a regular view but we got one with a view to the sea, that was nice. I really recommend the roof top bar, the view at night is beautiful. Unfortunately we couldnt use the pool because it was too cold, but it looked nice and clean. Even though the hotel is not right in the center of Barcelona, we really loved the location, because it's right next to a subway and a tram station and also a huge mall. The lobby is impressive, it made us feel super fancy when we walked in.

Hesperia Barcelona del Mar (tidigare Hesperia del Mar) ligger vid havet i Diagonal Mar och erbjuder eleganta rum med gratis WiFi och satellit-tv. The hotel was great, the room was nice and cozy, it was clean and it looked exactly like it does look in the pictures. Bathroom was clean and modern too. The location was good, 10 minutes away from the metro station and less than one minute away from the beach. Poblenou is a calm and nice neighborhood. Although it is not super central, you can easily get to the city centre by metro, or if you prefer to walk by the sea it takes around 40-50 minutes to get there. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good value for the money, we enjoyed our stay a lot!
