Dating back to 1865, this luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of Heidelberg’s historic centre offers a modern spa centre and views of the world famous castle. High speed WiFi is free for guests. Absolute gem in the middle of Heidelberg. Staff is attentive, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Comfortable room w all amenities including air conditioning. Public spaces are beautifully furnished. Puppy dog was welcomed and spoiled. Parking for our SUV was easy. Quick walk to pedestrian zone, boat trips, and public transport. Would have loved to be able to stream shows on TV but that’s a tiny thing. Would return to Heidelberg just for this hotel.

Heidelberg-Altstadt Train Station is just a 5-minute walk away.... We booked last minute for an overnight stay on our way back to Denmark. A staff member was waiting for us upon arrival and showed us to a nice room. Great hotel in the centre of town and nice breakfast.

The very kind lady who works at the reception, Jasna Marinkovic, helped us with directions for visiting the city, she was kind and very communicative.

Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. excellent location overlooking the marketplace . our room on the top floor was very spacious . it had AC ,a nespresso coffee machine and served an excellent breakfast .

Our room faced the interior, so we didn't hear any noise from outside. The room heating was good; we didn't feel cold. Breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. The staff was very friendly. If you're traveling by car, you can park at P12, which is just a few minutes' walk away and the hotel offers a discount coupon for parking there.
