The Bilderberg Bellevue Hotel Dresden amid beautiful gardens on the banks of the River Elbe, directly across the beautiful Augustus Bridge from Dresden's Baroque district. I don't know where to start, there are so many things positive about hotel, reasonable price, debonair staff, clean room, comfortable bed ( was amazing actually), location, list goes on like that.

This 4-star hotel is an 18th-century building located 500 metres from the River Elbe, opposite Dresden’s historic Old Town district. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and efficient. We were one block from Augustus Christmas holiday market. It had the best breakfast on our trip of three cities. When you start off your day, we a glass of Proseco, what more can you ask for?

Very clean, spacious, pleasant rooms (at least in the Apartment, which is good for family of 3 or 4). Welcoming and attentive staff (everyone who we met - from the receptionists to breakfast ladies to cleaning ladies), speaking good English which was a rarity during our trip in Germany. Decent brakfast for different tastes. I definitely recommend this hotel. And note- car parking on the street is cheaper than in the nearby parking lots.

Set in a historical building with a pretty courtyard, Hofgarten 1824 Hotel garni is just 500 metres from Neustadt Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Dresden’s Old Town. Great location: close to Dresden Neustadt train station, Königstraße and Neustädter Markthalle, but also 15 Min walk to the city center, Altstadt. simple but delicious breakfast and coffee. We had a spacious and cozy room on the top floor, very clean. Friendly staff!
