The Hotel zum Hirschen is Salzburgs oldest family-run hotel, conveniently located in the city center and only a few minutes by foot from the historic old town and the train station. We loved absolutely everything about the hotel and the staff. Great and varied breakfasts, the bar close to the reception, the friendly receptionists, maids etc, the clean and lovely room, the decor and location... Everything exceeded our expectations ❤️

Only a 5-minute walk from Salzburg's main train station, Parkhotel Brunauer offers a sauna, a fitness room and a 3,500 m² garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, including the garden. I liked the comfortable bed, the clean balcony and the well-equipped bathroom. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was superb. Everything was quiet and peaceful, overall. The location is fine - the town center is reachable on foot.

The Scherer is a traditional, family-run 4-star hotel in a quiet residential area, only a 15-minute walk along the Salzach River from Salzburg’s Old Town. The hotel, very well located, is an excellent option for visiting the monuments of the city. It is also very well connected with the Festival theatres. The very kind and helpful staff and spotless rooms welcome the guest. Breakfast alone is worth the trip. Highly recommended
