Touring Beale Street and listening to the live music having cocktails was great. There is a lot to see on Beale Street and the surrounding area. I also enjoyed going to the pyramid and the look out restaurant they had their food was delicious as well as their cocktails. I was able to walk to most all of the attractions.

We'd heard a lot of horror stories about crime and the danger for tourists in Memphis. Never had a problem and fe!t perfectly safe walking around the area near our hotel on Union Avenue. Walked to Beale Street, went to a club and didn't leave until 1130 at night, walked back to our hotel, never felt in any danger. YMMV....

Unfortunately, we arrived late due to the Greyhound bus with three hours delay. We tried to do everything we planned to do. Would like to have spent more time at Graceland, such as visiting Elvis planes. Sun Studio tour was awesome, Beale St not too impressive. Found the music scene in Nashville better.

I was surprised at the number of medical facilities.
I was surprised at the number of medical facilities. I had heard Memphis is one of the most dangerous cities in America. So, I limited my excursions to daytime only. I passed on having to park at a parking garage and having to walk to Beale Street for an evening ghost tour.

For lovers of rock and soul music, it’s a great place to visit. Lots to see and hear. Good bars and restaurants, although food is almost exclusively fried. Peabody hotel with its duck parade is a lovely place to stay, or just visit. Graceland and Sun Studio well worth visiting.

Everyday was a new surprise - botanical gardens with tulips...
Everyday was a new surprise - botanical gardens with tulips and dogwood at peak, art museum, Elvis' Graceland, walk across the Mississippi River on old train bridge, Lorraine Motel and National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Records Studio, big city shopping with NICE departlment store, Beale Street, South Main Street District, Chucalissa village of Mississipian culture mounds and great trails, rich neighborhoods, poor neighborhoons - and did I mention all the great food (real fried chicken, hush pupplies, fried okra, grits, bar-bq, coconut cake, pecan pie, Mississippi mud pie, and microbreweries to name a few. AND the people of Memphis are very friendly and welcoming.
We came to Memphis as part of a road trip stayed just the one one night at La Quinta- location was ok- had a great night out!! the room was unclean pubic hair in the bath - staff not very helpful- we woke up in the morning to find our hire truck parked in the hotel car park that he cctv had been broken into two smashed windows the police attended and shared it’s a daily occurrence- please if you stay here do not park here.
The staff did provide a cardboard box and tape for the broken windows- another guest there had his car stolen!
You can't beat the location for visiting Graceland - you can walk from the hotel (we were a little embarrassed to have got the shuttle when we realised how close it was!!). It really made our visit to Graceland - to be able to just come back, chill and listen to Elvis - much better than having to travel back to Memphis which would have spoiled the moment.
Smart pool area. Lovely peaceful place to sit outside in the warm evening having a drink just listening to Elvis music. Very chilled out.
Proximity to Beale St can't be beat! Right in the middle of everything but facing away from all the noise, so we got a restful night's sleep. Exceptional value for money and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Front desk staff were so welcoming and friendly and the place was very clean. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We loved our choice of hotel and had such fun on Beale St. Highly recommended the bbq ribs in BB kings!!
My wife an i had to stay a whole 11 days because of a issue we had to take care of in Memphis but we absolutely loved staying at Staybridge suites!! From check-in to check-out the breakfast, maid service is second to none!!! Weight room is nice an clean like the whole hotel is,,quiet, clean an in a very safe an in a very upscale part of town,,this is our Memphis hotel from now on!! Thanks y'all!-
I loved everything about this hotel and stay. The rooms were amazing and the service we super awesome. My so enjoyed everything and stayed we need to come back here again. I love the fact they had the pool table and the other hotel was connected to access the pool. This will be my stay when I come to Memphis. And it’s walking distance to the surrounding attractions. LOVE IT!!!
Everything! Honestly there isn't anything I could complain about, service desk was awesome, valet was awesome, night manager was awesome, cleanliness was fantastic 👏 😀 👍 I say it like that because I unexpectedly stayed one more night in Memphis and went to another hotel and had a terrible experience 😑 🙃 😐 ! I appreciate everyone at downtown Hyatt!!!
ALL The staff were WONDERFUL!!! I can not brag on them enough. I hugged them all. The room was beautiful, the view from the balcony was amazing & the free shuttle service was a life saver for getting to & from the nearby graduation we went there for. Down town Memphis parking is terrible on a good day, so the Free hotel shuttle bus was awesome.
The room was exceptionally clean. My towels were brand new. The room had been sanitized prior to my stay. The hotel was very safe and secure. The hotel is close to food and shopping adjacent Wolfchase Galleria. Walmart is around the corner. This is the best location to stay if visiting Memphis, everything is convenient.
Tim and the team were super helpful when our hotel booking let us down at really short notice. This apartment is easy to find, super convenient for Beale Street, Riverside, and the Civil Rights Museum., but quite quiet at night. Lots of nice restaurants locally.
We would definitely stay here again when in Memphis.
A wonderful historic hotel in the heart of Memphis. Beautiful decor and a short walk to Beale street. Staff couldn’t do enough to help us enjoy our stay. Heated pool. Brilliant New Year’s Eve party. Really the only place to stay in Memphis even with the negatives.
We were very satisfied with the hotel, because the rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was also good. Besides the hotel is very pretty and comfortable.
Whenever we go back to Memphis I would book that hotel again.
Had a fridge and microwave and very good A/C in the room. Bed was also very comfy and big.
Location is okay. Bus stops and some restaurants like Burger King close. You can also walk to downtown Memphis, about 2 miles (2.5 kilometres).
I've been looking forward to going to Memphis for a long time.
I used this hotel as a solo travel.
I had a very comfortable stay.
And stylish Room was the best.
It became a wonderful trip.
Thank you so much!!
Staff was attentive and friendly, and represented the hospitality industry, Hilton and Memphis very well. Hotel was unique and a lot of fun due to music themes and listening room highlighting Memphis music.
The rooms are comfortable and big enough. The location is great - right near the water and blocks from downtown and pedestrian zones. Parking garage is conveniently right under the hotel.
Staff were friendly and hotel was very clean.
Perfect location for visiting Memphis, short walk from most places: Beale Street, Main Street etc, and parking was great!
Location was great. View was gorgeous. Right downtown Memphis! Close to trolley, and walking distance to many destinations including Peabody hotel, Beale street etc.
Excellent hotel with a spacious room and full equipped kitchen. Confortable bed, good bathroom. Good garage with easy coded access. Highly recommended!
