We didn't get the villa on the beach that we paid for, but they did upgrade us to what was probably a more comfortable 2 BR, 2 bath small house.

To beat traffic, drive early or later in the evenings.
To beat traffic, drive early or later in the evenings. Holidays expect heavy traffic. We love Bud and Mary's Marina and always catch a lot of fish on the Miss Islamorada. Pack light clothing for Late Spring and Summer months, humidity is 100%. Lazy Days restaurant is very good.

Very nice place for kayaking and snorkeling.
Very nice place for kayaking and snorkeling. For sure you will see Robbie's that is the place to go to organize and do everything but be very much aware! We went there for dinner, feeding the tarpoons and to chill and as long as we brought money everything was fine. We were independently Kayaking close by and the owner of Robbie approached us in a rough, unfriendly way as soon as he realized we had private kayaks not from him.. We were having some floating issues and he was completely disrespectful also with risk for our safety...
Luckly the staff at Robbie's are amazing! While the owner can only see $$, $$ before humans

The Islander resort delivered a beautiful beach with great views. Our suite was very updated with design features. The bar service on the beach was wonderful. At night and early in the morning the private patio was a wonderful retreat. There were a lot of local restaurants to choose from, but the bar and restaurant on site were very good as well. We spent one day at Theatre of the Sea. The dolphin show and exhibits were very enjoyable. We will return.

If you don't have plans on the water, there is pretty much nothing to do. You need access to a boat and good weather to enjoy multiple days here. Everything we planned got cancelled because of the wind (snorkeling, kayaking, parasailing). We basically went to the diving museum, watched tv, and went out to eat. Definitely visit Lorelei's or the Morada Bay Cafe for awesome views. Midway cafe is the GOAT, order ahead for even faster service. Don't come here for the beaches, you'll be disappointed.
This is a very special property, with a super location on the beach with its own private pier. Fishing and tackle from the pier is included and was very fun. Jet ski rentals and water sports are available from the property, as well as free transportation to and around town. This place was very safe and clean, and perfect for families with kids as well as adult travelers. Golf was also a nice bonus and champagne check in. Ocean front rooms were beautiful with a large oversize bathroom and open balcony sitting area was very nice.
Loved the view from our room and the sitting area on the porch, pefect to watch the gorgeous sunrises. The pool was refreshing and very clean. The property is so peaceful as there are only 9 rooms. The birds provided daily entertainment and Lazy Days Restaurant is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The kitchen is fully equipped. One night we made steaks on the grill provided by the hotel (there are 3 of them). Bought the steaks from the Trading Post, it's just up the road from the hotel and is open 24 hrs.
The pool was packed when we arrived at the end of the day. Not a chair to spare. Thankfully, we were able to head to the beach and watch a storm come in. It rained for our entire visit at the resort. We ate at the Tiki Hut until we were drenched even sitting under the thatched roof. We relocated indoors to finish our meal and order additional food. It wasn't the same as being outdoors yet, it was nice that this hotel offered an indoor dining opportunity.
We had a great time at Lime Tree Resort. Room was spacious & updated, very clean as well. Beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico. Delicious breakfast included with hotel fee was great. Activities such as kayaking, biking were fun, lots to do right at resort. Would recommend for a stay close to Islamorada & Marathon, both are 15 miles away.
Checking in went smoothly! Corrin at the Front desk was extremely cordial & helpful! The room location was nice with a bit of ocean view! The beach & activities available were very nice! the Tiki Bar at the Hotel was a Fun place to hang out & meet people!
The hotel was in a beautiful part of the keys, very convenient for all local attractions and also not to far of a drive from Key West or Miami, its about the half way point. Some lovely looking accommodation properties and grounds well maintained.
Really cute retro hotel! Big rooms, great pool area, bonus pool was heated! Very convenient to shops and restaurants, many were easy walking distance. Just a small detail but the in room coffee/creamer options were a nice touch 😊
The apt. We had was perfect! Very clean, plenty of room, nice furnishings, steps from pool. Screened-in patio a plus! Very polite staff! Very quiet and relaxed. Will stay again if we go to Islamorada in the future!
Nice room with kitchenette. Balcony only had partial view of the ocean, but it was still beautiful (and cheaper than those with full view). Small resort with nice pool, deck and private beach. Very quiet.
The hotel seemed to have been remodeled recently, very nice, the staff was accommodating and even gave us a free room upgrade which was great. The location was also great, close to everything.
The hotel room itself was fine. Comfortable beds, neat bathroom and even a balcony. There were free sunbeds on the beach at the resort and if it got too hot you can cool off in the sea.
Grounds are nice. Enjoyed the area under the hotel where sitting area and games were. Enjoyed the beach and lounge chairs. Kids were able to fish off the dock.
