We love it down here, we may even move down here or close if given a chance. Even with 10,000 people down here people of all different backgrounds all just enjoying the beach and hanging out. Definitely not what the news shows us cause all I see is a bunch of folks all getting along in harmony. This is our 3rd time down in 4 years.

We've been visiting HHI for years.
We've been visiting HHI for years. It has something for everyone in the family, and we never seem to have enough time to do everything we want to do. We have our favorites but tried some different restaurants for the first time. You must try Lucky Beach Bar and Kitchen. Wow, sweet potato waffle fries to die for. World's best nachos and pulled pork. So good. Top Dawg at Shelter Cove has expanded and now has a really good pizzaria and bar with outdoor seating and gelato!! Great spot to hang out with friends. Traffic was heavy as expected for a holiday weekend, but not terrible. Suggest taking some time to enjoy Coastal Discovery Museum at Historic Honey Horn. They have so much to offer if you love history and nature. This is a beautiful and very special place; a 68 acre sanctuary that will give you a new perspective on one of the most productive ecosystems on earth. This island is not just another tourist destination. It is a treasure.

Since the early 1980's, Hilton Head Island has remained our happy place. We love cycling on the beach and in the plantation areas on Hilton Head Island. The island also offers for golfing enthusiasts well-established and meticulously groomed golf courses. Tennis is also another option with numerous courts on the island. Hilton Head Island provides further amenities such as restaurants and shopping. The only negative is that Hilton Head Island has now become so popular that traffic, especially on the weekend, can be quite busy. Our happy place is no longer just our secret!

A lovely relaxing place to visit. We have been coming back here for some 15 years and have always enjoyed our stays. Playing golf, cycling on the beach beside the tide and eating out at the many good quality restaurants. The fish is top rate

Some restaurants like Frankie Bones take phone reservations a day ahead of time and have no seats available for walkins, but their website says come for our early bird specials. That was frustrating. The Island overall is nice. People in Sea Pines dont seem to care for your business, a lot of horn blasting. The beaches are amazing. We rode 30 miles on our bikes on the beach since its so wide and hard packed. We stayed at Hampton Place which was great. Had lunch one day at Flatbreads, that was amazing. When driving, stay in the left lanes for traffic circles, not much warning to get over if your in the right. Overall a relaxing trip and would come back, we live only 2 hours away.AAnonymous

Three different pools, they had movies by the pool for kids activity every night depending on weather.
