The apartment was a great location from public transportation. It was clean. Maria had excellent communication and we felt well cared for and heard with our needs. We would choose this apartment again.

More Than Just a London Suburb
Ilford benefits from a train station on the fast line between Liverpool Street and Shenfield. Since Stratford, site of the Olympic Park, is only a few stations away, Ilford rose in international popularity during the build-up to the 2012 Games. However, location isn't all it has going for it.
The Borough of Redbridge is run from its Grade II-listed Victorian town hall, on a pedestrian precinct which includes the Ilford Exchange shopping centre. To the west is another Grade II-listed building: the 12th-century Hospital Chapel of St Mary and St Thomas of Canterbury.
The UK’s only complete mammoth skull was found underneath the high street and is now displayed in London’s Natural History Museum. Redbridge Museum houses more archaeological finds, and the 17th-century Valentines Mansion features a Victorian kitchen and beautiful gardens.
Actually outside of the capital when built, the mansion is now firmly within Greater London and is surrounded by Valentines Park with its boating lake and cricket pitch where Essex County once played.
The diverse cuisine of Ilford’s restaurants reflects its multicultural population, and there are also several good bars and a club near Gants Hill Tube station that is popular with reality TV stars. Nearby Ilford accommodation on Booking.com includes hotels with parking and cheap guest houses.

As a black person I felt comfortable among the Asian population and I saw other persons of color as well. The town is lively and friendly. The Turkish food was a blast. The shopping center has almost everything. For black women, there's a hair shop in the main shopping area. The prices are reasonable for London

Wazir's kebab is worth tasting
Only 40 min drive to Stansted airport (at least early in the morning)
Location is good, near the shops, bus stops nearby and a tube station minutes away.
My room was a bit cramped (although OK by London standards I guess).
Quite clean, heating was fine, had some storage space, lighting OK. Nice big windows (street level). Medium sized flat-screen on the wall, and wifi worked fine.
Bed was quite comfortable.
Breakfast was varied and not bad at all.
Overall - good VFM - reasonable price for a decent hotel with easy access to central London.
It is located near the Ilford train station with easy access to cental London gor the sightseeing. also all the shops you may need are near byZ
There are also nice places to eat after your busy day of visiting London.
The staff is very nice, polite and super helpful. They go an extra mile to make your stay nice experience.
Yes, the toiletries are lacking and the pillows could be softer but over all it is still good value for money.
The manager Jackie was outstanding in her treating me as a guest of the hotel. Jackie provided a very comfortable room, she gave me good suggestions where to visit, eat, transportation, and anything else I may have needed. Both Jackie and her partner Wayne are exceptionally friendly people who ensure any guest to their hotel has the best experience possible. I would recommend this hotel to all travelers coming to that area.
The staff and the food were awesome 👌. It is a basic economic place. My room 11, was very comfortable and quiet even do We stayed during the bands night.
The new rail line Elizabeth is 3 minutes walking it goes very fast just 19 minutes to Liverpool Street Station in a very safe neighborhood.
A lot of great mid-east restaurants in the area.
Next to the guest house there is Hagstag Coffe for early breakfast.
we took 3 rooms for 7 people . ie one was triple room . The check-in was smooth . The rooms are well maintained but small. the free continental breakfast provided is the same from monday to friday with some additions on saturday and sunday . The property is near to Ilford metro and bus station . There are lot of restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner . Overall nice 7 days at BW Greater London @ Ilford
Excellent value for money and good location to train station for route into London. Plenty of shops etc close by. Modern hotel and extremely clean. Staff really lovely. Large room, good size bathroom, extremely comfortable beds. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay.
I like that the property is located within walking distance to the metro. There are plenty of shops , restaurants and grocery stores around. The staff at the property was nice and helpful. The community / kitchen area /backyard, and bathroom on lower level spacious and very clean.
1) The room on the ground floor that I stayed was quiet.
2) The hotel is very close to the tube which is a big plus.
3) The room, though basic, was above average given the rather low London standards.
4) Receptionists were friendly and smiling.
Walkable from Ilford station. Stayed in the actually hotel and place advertised which was good. So many of the East London “stays” are agency and you get shuffled and hassled. This was a hotel which actually exists which is at least a step forward.
Location & Well structured studio for a small family. Walkable distance to Ilford station and good bus transportation to all major locations . local shops are nearby. For south indian food lovers the famous Saravana Bhavan is in walkable distance.
The hotel was in a nice neighbourhood and the rooms were cosy, staff were exceptional and quite immediately obliged my request for the rooms in upper floors. Overall a good stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Ilford, London.
We were transferred to their sister hotel the Ilford best western due to refurbishment issues with our rooms. Meant we were actually closer to amenities, our 4 daughters loved their 1st trip to London and their 1st hotel experience
the bed was well-laid and comfy, the room is spacious, bathroom was clean. theres a sink & kitchen cabinet which is splendid. the hotel is stone throw from Ilford station and supermarkets.
Clean and cosy with a great power shower and nice tv! For a small London hotel, this was really nice, even if the location (Ilford - I went there for work) is not very appealing.
