The place was great! We had a amazing stay. The view was amazing and the room was very nice. Especially the outdoor shower. Would recommend staying here a few days.

Summerplace Game Reserve is one of South Africa’s premier mountain biking destinations. Escape to the bush and experience life outdoors. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

What a wonderful place, we would have liked to stay more than one night! So peaceful, clean, huge and comfortable. David was so kind and responsive, we would have loved to have met him to say thanks!

It is a stunning spot... the birdlife and little squirrels, warthog, duiker and guineafowl visitors. The hyena calls in the evening. Clean and beautifully presented rooms. Love the outdoor shower and loo. So convenient to town for my life admin. The whole process was super easy and Dianne was amazing.

A great place to relax, explore the surroundings and enjoy the tranquility. Close enough to explore town easily. Host was very helpful with recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants.

Marula Cottage is a 10-minute drive from Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province. The thatched farmhouse offers views of the Waterberg Mountains and is situated 7 km from the Marakele National Park. Beautiful setting, lovely, relaxed hosts who provided a delicious evening meal. Quiet, stunning scenery, close to Marakele National Park
