The water gives such a magical, soothing feeling with complete silence. One can also swim in the river. There is a barbecue place with a nice table on a pad below the house and everything is done very lovingly and thoughtfully. A nice person, Alex, was very caring, explained everything. You can contact him with any question. The bus stop is very close to the house. there are shops just two stops from the house. We really liked and sunk into the heart of this place. We will definitely stay here again.

The cottage was very cozy and very very well equipped, almost everything you can imagine was there. Certain equipment was handmade in a cottage style e.g. shower. The host was very easy to communicate with, the location itself is good, we would not mind spending there more time than we could.

We found this place because it was the only one in Booking with the EV charger for our electric car. It was not working but they made it work for us, we are really thankful for that. The staff is very friendly and helped not only with that. When we came in the evening, we asked for a trip to Delta for the next day, they arranged it and we could join people from a different hotel, for a reasonable price. Trip was really good, we could see so many birds in their natural habitat in Dunai Delta which is one of few last places in the world where you can see untouched nature. Hotel staff cares a lot and pay attention to the details, the hotel area is very clean, as well as the room. We really liked the pool area where you can chill. You can find everything you need but at the same time the whole place is small enough to feel comfortable, as we do not like big hotels with many people. On the top of that they serve really good food, especially the breakfast was great - the best breakfast we had in Romania. We definitely recommend this place.

The rooms are new and well thought out and designed. The location is an easy walk from the old town of Durnstein so you can get away from the busyness of the old town. If you're arriving by train, the station is right around the corner but the trains are quiet. Breakfast was excellent and prepared and served by Theresa, the owner. Theresa knows how to take care of guests. She answered any questions we had and made excellent recommendations for restaurants.
