Situated in Monsaraz, in a historic building, 1.5 km from Monsaraz Castle, Viva! Farmhouse is a recently renovated farm stay with a rooftop pool and garden. The hosts were super nice and thoughtful. Breakfast was served in a very careful and personalized way: as a vegan, they managed to get good and fresh options, most of them home made. They even had a shared kitchen were you could cook or grab some lunch/dinner from it. The room was big and comfortable, with a super comfy bed and very nice bathroom. We wanted a quiet place in the country and that was what we got. We even got to see the farm animals they have in the propriety. Would recommend to everyone who wants to get a modern and stylish place in a quiet and peaceful town in the beautiful Alentejo.

The location and hotel was absolutely beautiful!! Staff was incredible, best hospitality anyone could ask for!! Breakfast was perfect. Thank you to the lovely ladies who welcomed us and made the stay unique!! If i ever visit this area again, i would stay there without a doubt!! Best place i have stayed so far!! 5 Stars on our behalf

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Casa Solua is situated in Reguengos de Monsaraz. Guests can benefit from a patio and a barbecue. Everything. Bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, The best part for us was the back garden, it was easily big enough to have local friends over (who were friends with the owner). But the best part was the roof terrace. Beautiful views, nice sun trap. Nice morning relaxing area with a coffee. Couldn't be happier. And the cost is really cheap for the quality. Also the local village, and the surrounding villages. It's a little hidden gem.

Situated within 14 km of Cathedral of Evora Se and 13 km of Chapel of Bones, Páteo Lima provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Évora. Our host Benedita greeted us as we got out of the car, she was forewarned by her overactive but cute dog Leia; she recruited her daughter Rachel to translate as a go-between for the check-in (thanks Rachel). We later managed very well on our own with a mixture of English, Portuguese, Spanish and a bit of French. Benedita offered us the use of her laundry room for free which we graciously accepted on the spot. You just cannot wish for a better host, we felt that we were treated like family. Thanks Benedita, please say Hello to Luke (her other dog that I wish I could take home).
