Our dates kept being changed and they understood which was helpful! The owner was very kind, the cottages were clean, the grounds were beautiful and well kept and we loved the pool area. The location was quiet but you definitely need a motorbike or a tuk tuk (plenty waiting outside) to get into the main restaurant area in town though there are a couple good ones close by. Recommend checking out the banana lady around the corner! The owner and the team provided great service and quickly addressed questions or when we needed fresh water or towels! There were onsite scooter rentals, excursions, and laundry services.

We liked how spacious the house was considering the price for the whole stay. The owner was easy to contact and there was a staff member waiting for us on the day of our arrival.

Set 12 km from Guyam Island and 15 km from Naked Island, The River Hideaway features free WiFi and units fitted with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Everything! Little paradise, tucked away in the middle of nature. The place is very clean and the view on the river is breathtaking! So peaceful and quiet, but also not too far from GL as well (20 mins by scooter, very wasy to do!) Communication with the host was great. He even organized for us to have a scooter waiting for us upon our arrival at the place :) Spent 4 nights here for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed!

The driveway is dirt and not paved, so you have to take into account that it will be difficult for tuktuks to enter and they will drop you off on the road, a 3 minute walk is not bad at all.
