Parking was right in front. The hostess Lottie made a special effort to come by and say hello which made us feel right at home. The Vianden Cottage - Charming Cottage in the Forest has a patio and is situated in Vianden, within just 1 km of Vianden Chairlift and 1 km of Victor Hugo Museum. As soon as Glen stepped out of his car and greeted us (including our dog), we knew that the weekend couldn't go wrong! He gave us a guided tour inside the cozy cottage, literally in the middle of forest, yet still close enough to the village down the hill. We ordered some BBQ-ready food from Glen and oh, it was so delicious! The deck is covered, so you can BBQ even when it rains. The cottage is decorated with a lot of personal touch and it makes it very homy. In the morning, we could see squirrels and birds out of the windows. We are already planning to come back in the summertime!
