Sólbrekka Holiday Homes is located in Mjóifjörður, a remoted fjord in east Iceland. Free WiFi access is available in this holiday home. Super comfortable cottage in a stunning location. The kitchen is well stocked and has a great little stove with oven, the space is compact but well designed and the hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake. We watched whales and seals in the fjord as we soaked in the hot water. The drive into the fjord is not for the faint of heart, but when you get there you are rewarded with one of the most beautiful views in the country.

Set on the most eastern fjord, Nordfjördur, this family-run farm stay is 7 km from Neskaupstadur town centre. It provides free WiFi, scenic country views, as well as horse riding tours on site. Owner and his wife are super friendly. No shoes allowed in the house which is good. Owner let us cook our own dinner too! Highly recommend for family

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ. Good location, nice view. Hot tub bath.

There's all of the amenities we can possibly need. The host was a delight as well, very nice, helpful and comprehensive. Heated floor in the main entrance, café machines and drying and washing machines also available. It was a really a modern house with a comfy outlook. Comfortable beds and big nice dining table. We loved it.

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. The property is located in beautiful and natural surroundings. one of our best stays in Iceland! to top it all the owner Asdis is a wonderful person who had great tips and was always available for help. She makes yummy chia and fruit yoghurt! The property has a hot tub in the beautiful outdoors and we had the most relaxing time enjoying it! A must go place if you plan to be in the area!
